1/144 scale - Airfix Boeing 727 - The versatility and reliability of the Boeing 727 made it the best selling airliner in the world during the first 30 years of jet transport service. Production of the 727 extended from the early 1960s to August 1984 a remarkable length of time, considering the original market forecast was for 250 airplanes. As it turned out, 1,831 were delivered.

1/144 scale - Airfix Boeing 737 - In late 1958 Boeing announced a design study for "A twin engined feeder airliner to complete the family of Boeing passenger jets". In Feb 1965 the first order was placed and the project went ahead. The 737 has since become the best selling commercial aircraft in aviation history with more than 5,900 orders from 225 customers so far.

1/144 scale - Airfix Vostok 1 - One of the most successful space designs ever, the initial flight of the Vostok which carried the first human being into space was launched on April 12, 1961, Vostok 1, carrying cosmonaut Yury A. Gagarin, made a single orbit of Earth before reentry. The Vostok series included six launchings over a two-year period (1961–63). The final two missions in June 1963 by Vostok 5, followed two days later by Vostok 6, carrying Valentina V. Tereshkova, the first woman in space, were notable in that the two spacecraft travelled at times only 3 miles (4.8 km) apart, setting the stage for future space dockings between orbiting vehicles.

1/24 scale - Airfix Supermarine Spitfire Mk.1A - length 381mm, width 468mm with 156 pieces and 2 kit variations - The immortal Spitfire was the most famous fighter of the Second World War and one of the greatest war planes of all time. When the Battle of Britain began in the summer of 1940 there were nineteen squadrons of Spitfires in action. The two Spitfires for which markings are provided are typical of those flown at the begining of the hostilities. The first Bogus belonged to 602 Squadron originally based at Drem in Scotland and which with 603 Squadron shot down the first enemy aircraft over Britain in October 1939. The second Kiwi was flown by Flt. Deere D.F.C. of 54 Squadron based at Hornchurch Essex during the Battle of Britain. This fabulous model will show the cockpit the Merlin engine gun ports and other great detail.
